We are currently seeking three (3)
ACCOUNT EXECUTIVES to join our Hamilton Industrial Sales
team.
Your primary role as an Account Executive, is
to profitability grow industrial sales
revenues
from both new and existing customers within
pre-defined verticals. Using your previous
experience in technical solution selling and
business development, you will
lead aggressive growth plans in our Industrial
Markets.
Your key responsibilities will
include:
-
Provide sales and customer
service support to the North American
Industrial market segment by providing
engineered solutions using textile related
products in the areas of Protection, Carriage,
Containment, and Coverage:
-
Manage and grow existing
accounts within the North American Industrial
Market segment (25% of the time)
-
Develop new business
opportunities by expanding into and targeting
new Industrial companies including Fortune 500
and engineering firms (60% of time)
-
Revive inactive Industrial
accounts by re-establishing relationships with
historic customers (15% of time)
-
Create a competitive
advantage by developing and implementing
tailored sales strategies
-
Generate sales revenue by
following leads and qualifying prospects
-
Lead the RFQ process
(Request for Quote) and facilitate contract
review and contract award meetings with
internal departments
-
Provide after sale support
and full cycle technical expertise to internal
and external customers from the development
stage to delivery and installation
-
Conduct market research,
identify opportunities for new product
development, and communicate information from
the field to the Engineering Design Team
-
Attend trade shows as
required
-
Manage and work to a
department budget
-
Validate sales activities through trip reports
and Sales & Marketing reports
-
Attend and participate in the annual Sales
Conference (scheduled for September 12th
to 15th, 2010)
-
60% travel (including customer visits,
industry and trade shows, and the annual Sales
Conference)
Your knowledge, skills and experience
include:
-
University degree or
College diploma in a Business related field
-
5 to 7 years of account
management experience in an industrial and/or
customized manufacturing sales environment in
products relating to Protection, Carriage,
Containment or Coverage
-
Strong technical aptitude
with the ability to interpret drawings and
specifications
-
The ability to take a
customer idea or concept and make initial
product sketches prior to engineering
involvement
-
The ability to recommend
engineering solutions to customer related
problems using textiles
-
Demonstrated ability to
build long term profitability
-
Demonstrated ability to
develop and maintain strong customer
relationships
-
Goal oriented with strong
analytical, negotiation and communication
skills
-
Exceptional organizational
skills with a strong attention to detail
-
Self starter who enjoys
working independently and as part of a team
Asset:
-
Experience working with
long sales cycles
-
Experience with RF welding
machines for the production of industrial
textile products
-
Experience working in
ISO9001 and/or AS9100 environments
-
Experience with LEAN
Manufacturing
